Dear Elder Talon,

I haven't emailed you for a long time. How are you doing? Do you like
your area? I can't wait until you come home!! We are just starting all
star basketball. We scrimmage Richfield on Friday,we kicked their
butts. I think we will have a really good season. In school I have
straight A`s.

Dear Mr. B!

I am doing well! I love my area. Cloverdale is a great place, and I am making a lot of friends with the people I serve. I have a lot of neat people that I am teaching. 

I can't wait to see you too! You might be taller than me! Ha ha.

It sounds like you are having a good time with Basketball. I'm glad that you are doing so well. I'm happy that you are doing so well in school too. You are gonna get tons of scholarships! Playing at BYU basketball! I'll come watch you.

I keep learning so much. I am so excited for you to go on your mission. Even things like basketball can help prepare you. I know you are a good sportsman and you treat everyone with respect. That is important. So is learning how to work with others even if they don't agree with you. Getting good grades is important too. There are going to be a lot of people with a lot of questions, and sometimes they are really hard to answer. I'm glad that I was able to learn so much in seminary and from Sunday school. 

Keep up the good work, Brandt. I'm really proud of you. I brag about how my brother is a baller.
